The conference technical committee has received more than 500 abstracts from members of ocean professional societies, ocean governing organizations, government, industry, academia, researchers, educators and students on recent work in the fundamental and applied science, engineering, and complimentary areas in:
All the submitted abstracts are now being competitively reviewed for participation in a three-day session configuration of technical paper presentations at the conference. Abstracts are being judged on their technical quality, novelty and relevance to the technical program. Authors will be notified if, or not, submitted abstracts were accepted. The submissions of full paper manuscripts for publication in the archival conference proceedings will follow accepted abstracts. The formatting guidelines of the final manuscript allow authors a choice between a one-column or two-column format. Samples for each format can be downloaded from the Author Information section. At least one of the author and co-author(s) of an accepted abstract must carry a full conference registration and be present at the conference for a 20 minute oral presentation. Significant dates:
