The MTS/IEEE-OES Oceans 2007 Vancouver Committee is looking forward to welcoming you to our "Super Natural British Columbia". Dazzling ocean and mountain views, dense forest, lush parkland, stretches of coastline, creating an atmosphere that blends the natural beauty of the outdoors with the cosmopolitan bustle of contemporary urban life.

Vancouver is where you can golf, ski (winter) and sail on the same day; jog, cycle or hike through a rainforest in the same park.  Vancouver also offers visitors a multi-cultural "big-city" experience with a wide variety of restaurants, entertainment and shopping options - all on the doorstep of our mountains, ocean and rain forest.

You will be faced with the challenge of choosing from a wide variety of pre- and post- conference activities - golf, fishing, cruises, rail trips, hiking, or just strolling.

We would like to hear from you!
Would you like for us to organize activities, i.e. a golf tournament or fishing trip? Or would you prefer for us just to be informative c/w websites, so you could plan your own?  Since it will be early fall the weather should be beautiful, with temperatures 50+ to 70+ degrees, but this is Vancouver and it can rain.
